This is a family run business with 100 years experience in the property markets of Lancaster, Morecambe, Preston and South Ribble. Built around the Robinson family legacy, Lancastrian Estates have exciting plans for growth to help even more people move across Lancashire.
As they evolve the business and adapt to customer needs, it was important that the brand and website truly reflected the changes within the agency as well as the history, and ambition for the future. They came to PropertyStream needing help with a brand refresh and a complete new website.
Lancastrian Estates battled with too many variations in their brand profile and lack of consistency. They needed their brand identity to be refreshed, modernised and consolidated including new brand guidelines and brand application for all outputs.
Kevin Robinson, Operations Manager, was also keen to ensure the new brand could be used independently of their area names, as this caused too many variations in their branding.
Once the new-look brand was finalised, we were tasked to write, design and build a new, state-of-the-art website to elevate their online profile.
To add clarity around the brand and make it more contemporary, we simplified and modernised the logo and created a striking new monogram by using the letters L and E intertwined.
It was critical to retain brand recognition of this well established estate agent who are cemented in the local communities across Lancashire. We achieved this by preserving the bright pink colour, applying it throughout the brand identity. The pink is also used as a prominent conversion colour throughout the new website which works a treat.
We also consulted and added clarity around the location names and usage of the brand name.
By getting to know the business really well, we were able to strike a balance between old and new to create a tone that respected the 100 year legacy of the company as well as the here and now – and their ambition going forward.
Our experienced copywriter wrote a complete Brand Positioning Statement to cement Lancastrian’s story, goals, values, vision, and points of difference. This document also includes key message statements and affirms their tone of voice for all communication to help retain brand consistency. Following on from this, we wrote the content for all the website pages giving the agency a fresh, balanced style and consistent tone throughout.
The new website includes the latest estate agency features and functionality now expected by visitors who are greeted by stunning imagery, clean designs, strong colours, sticky headers and super clear calls to action throughout, such as Book a Valuation, Book a Viewing, Download a Sellers Guide and much more.
