Organised and user friendly website which matches the new name and brand.

The challenge

HOP are an award-winning estate and lettings agent in Leeds. They started out purely as a lettings agency and have expanded to offer more property services. Originally known as ‘Let Leeds’ they changed their name to HOP in the summer of 2020, which means Home Of Property, after more than 11 years. Their website lacked their new branding message and they wanted it to be tidier.


The brief

HOP were seeking to update their website to be smarter and sleeker with a better user experience. Their old site had a large amount of content which was great for SEO but made the website very crowded and hard to navigate as a user.

Since changing their brand, they needed a new website which could show off their new name and tie in with the new branding. Alongside this, they previously only provided lettings services and focused on students but now wanted to communicate their new and vast property service offerings throughout their website which included property sales and block management.


Our approach

We utilised the bright and bold colour palette of purple and pink to make the website stand out. To further this, we wanted to include simple and fun animations and for there to be a prominent property search with a valuation call to action to ensure the website maximised lead generation from sellers and landlords.

To make the website less cluttered, the content on the site needed to be arranged by using accordions and creating a knowledge bank so all the resources were in one place.


The result

The result is an organised, user friendly website which matches their new name and brand. The graphic animation on the homepage offers movement without being overbearing and blends in with HOP’s striking brand and colours. This, in combination with the happy, smiley imagery gives the site real energy and appeal.

The content of the website was consolidated under streamlined navigation and headings, and new, innovative functionalities were added. Now users can navigate around the website with ease and clearly find what they are looking for.

We created advanced property listings that allows users to view and scroll through several images at once and without having to click onto the property. Fewer clicks means less visitor exit and increases time spent on site by users.

In order to maximise lead generation and drive valuation bookings from the site, we created a diary booking feature which gives visitors the option to specify the most suitable day and time of day.
